Harrow Boss Guide
The Harrow is a Boss in Remnant: From the Ashes. The Harrow is a dungeon/world boss that is located in the Rhom realm. Bosses are special Enemies that are uniquely named and must be defeated to progress the game and to acquire special items and gear.
- End of dungeons
- Story boss
* This boss is semi-optional, it is 1 of 2 options for getting the key to the Undying King. The other option would be Claviger.
Normal Drop Material:
- Thermal Geode: You have to kill the Harrow without taking the Lost Harpoon.
Normal Crafted Item:
Alternative Crafted Item:
- Lost Harpoon:
Shoot him in the legs to stagger him a few times, and he will eventually drop to the ground. When he does, go behind him and grab the Lost Harpoon. NOTE: This is not a persistent state between attempts. If you die, you must repeat the process to receive the Harpoon.
Harrow Boss Fight
The Harrow boss fight may be hard due to the area constraints and the number of minions attacking you from all sides possibly overwhelming you.
In the beginning:
Do not get too close as this guy would deal you decent damage with his melee attacks.
Empty as many rounds into the monster as possible and then wait for it to retreat.
After taking some damage this guy would call it quits and send a wave of minions after you. These are little yet dangerous guys.
Once you’ve killed the first round of minions The Harrow will return, until it gets hit enough to return and another wave of minions arrives. Since they are not restricted in any phases you need to defeat the waves of minions before Harrow comes back.
Shoot it until it retreats again and you’ll fight another wave of minions. The only real time you should be in danger of The Harrow is if it gets close to you. If it does, it will use multiple melee attacks with its claws. Your main objective should be to take care of all of the minions before the boss gets back (or as many as you can).
From there it’s rinse and repeat with this boss. The boss will escape a couple more times and send waves of minions while it’s gone.
Stamina is the key thing in this fight as well as patience when dealing with hordes of these tiny buggers. Try not to lose your calm as one wrong move can cause a cascade of undesirable outcomes.
As for the weapons choice during this boss fight, go for any that deals high damage with a good fire rate.
Our recommendation is to use the shotgun as it would take care of the minions as well as Harrow himself. Mid to close range is ideal for a Shotgun although the assault rifle or the Spitfire would also work.
