Fix Audio Issue

So quick explanation on why the audio is crackling, turns out the music is recorded at a certain Range, in this case 32000Hz, most people are running their audio setups at standard 44100hz which is CD Quality and normally is the norm, sadly this game hasn’t included a upscaled version of it’s music, at that range, hence why everyone at 44100hz is getting crackling audio.

Now the fix

Now the fix is quite easy until 343 gets around patching it themselves,

And that is to go into your audio configuration on windows

Right-click on your audio device,

Go to properties then advanced

And change 44100hz CD Quality to 32000HZ FM Quality.

This fixes the audio crackling, but not the missing center channel nor the lack of depth, that is a issue that is completely on their end. I do hope this helped somebody.

Assuming that all audio is mixed at this range, this should fix it, it fixed it on my end, but I don’t know if it will for everything.

This is the ending of Halo: Reach DLC How to Fix AUDIO Issue guide. Hope it will help you. If there is wrong or you have suggestions, please let’s know and comment us. Have fun.

Slight issue with the resolution to the issue. I use an Arctis 3 SteelSeries headset and 32000hz is not an available option. However, upping from the 48000HZ (my default) to 96000HZ solved the issue thus far.
