How to Import/Export Maps, Texture packs, Plugins and more!
To modify the launcher, you will need to navigate to your ClassiCube game folder. If you do not know how to get there, here are steps:
1-Find ClassiCube
2- Right Click and click Properties
3-click Local Files
4-click Browse Local Files and here it is.
Importing and exporting maps
Whether you are wanting to import or export a map, you will want to take a look at the maps folder. All maps you save from in-game are automatically saved here.
Importing maps
ClassiCube supports the following extensions: .cw, .lvl, .dat and .fcm.
Simply drag the level file into the maps folder and it will be imported. You can then load the map in singleplayer by clicking on load level.
Exporting maps
Go into either a multiplayer or singleplayer world and click on save level.
After saving the level, simply go back to your maps folder and it will be there.
Adding and using texture packs
All texture packs must be compressed (.zip format) in order for them to show in-game. Place the .zip in the texpacks folder. Now
Installing plugins
Plugins are compiled in the .dll extension. Download the plugin’s .dll and place it into the pluginsfolder. If the plugin has different installation requirements, follow their guide instead.
Client options
Now it’s time we look at the options.txt file. The options.txt file serves as an alternative to editing the options via the in-game GUI. There is not really anything you cannot do from in-game in this file except for a few minor options. These will be posted eventually.
