Barotrauma Singleplayer Viability
I’m having great fun playing solo, it was very busy at first, but after some trial and error it gets way better.
The AI is mostly quite reliable, and will surely get better with future updates. As developers said, campaign is still very much WIP.
They’re not so dumb as people are saying, in my case I haven’t noted that you need to give orders to them every time that you undock, another thing is to pay close attention for the headset batteries of you crew.
There is a lot of automation, your sub drives itself (slowly but steadily), you can assign a member for reactor duties, repairs, pump management, and weapons.
At first I was changing a lot between characters, but now I’m using a different approach, I assign two crew members for guns, one for the reactor, and I control only one member that runs across making repairs.
Eventually something bad will happen, but for now, I’m getting way more progress playing that way. The choice of your sub will have great impact on your gameplay, make sure to start with something small.
This is the ending of Barotrauma Singleplayer Viability guide. I hope it will help you. If there is wrong or you have suggestions, please let’s know and comment us. Have fun.
