Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will be available on Steam one year after launch on other exclusive digital PC platforms. It is a third-person open-world survival game where you Explore, Expand, and Evolve to advance your clan to the next generation in this exhilarating new adventure from the creator of Assassin’s Creed.
How to Help Broken Bones
Horsetail, a green plant that grows near freshwater sources, can be used to heal broken bones and even bleeding as well if altered correctly. Eating Horsetail directly off the stem is allowed but provides the least health benefits.
To strip horsetail, you will need to unlock the ability to hold items in both of your hominids hands. Once you have, you can put the Horsetail into your left hand and follow the on screen prompts within the HUD to alter it with an empty right hand.
If released at the proper time (More audio cues!) your hominid will strip the Horsetail, leaving behind a pile of its leaves. Once you investigate it, apply it to your body to stop some minor bleeding and broken bones.
Horsetail can also ground using a granite grinder (see How to Craft Helpful tools if you need to learn how). Follow the instructions on the HUD to begin grinding the Horsetail once it is in your left hand and the granite grinder is in the other. Grinding the horsetail can take a minute, so be patient and listen closely for the audio cure.
Once you have ground the horsetail, you will be left with a Horsetail paste, that will completely heal ANY bleeding wounds you may have and give you full bleeding protection if you don’t have any wounds that need healing.
